Shipping & Duties

Ships from Japan, worldwide

After you approve a quote and pay, we buy your item in Japan and ship it to you with a trackable service (typically Japan Post EMS, FedEx, DHL or UPS). You get a tracking number once it's on its way.

Shipping is charged after we buy your item

You pay in two steps: first the item + our service fee, then — after we buy it and weigh it — the exact international shippingto your address. We ask for your address up front so the shipping quote is accurate for your location (remote areas and islands can cost more), and you pay the real cost, not a padded estimate.

How long it takes

Once paid, sourcing and dispatch usually take a few business days to a couple of weeks depending on the item and where it's found. International delivery time then depends on the carrier and destination. You can follow every step on your tracking page.

Import duties & taxes

Import duties or taxes may apply and are charged by your country's customs — not by KAIVA— unless they're prepaid and included in your shipping quote (e.g. DDP, which some destinations such as the US may require). Please check your country's import rules before you approve a quote.
